Awards Gala Committee

BBQ Committee

The BBQ Committee is responsible for planning an annual BBQ. Both members and non-members may have a booth but must participate in the BBQ competition and cook some type of BBQ to share with guests. Business Practice Interchange Committee

Contract Review Committee

The Contract Review Committee actively reviews contracts from area general contractors, or those firms that are from out-of-town but doing work in the area upon the request of ASA members.  This committee is led by the Association's Chapter Attorney.  With his guidance along with the review/comments from members of this committee, they review contracts and offer their comments on the reviewed contract at no cost to ASA Midwest Council members.  These reviewed contracts are available for your review from the Chapter's Executive Director.  If you would like to learn more about this ASA Midwest Council Committee please send us an email.

GC Expo Committee

Golf Committee

The Golf Committee might be the most "fun" oriented committee of the bunch; however, it is not all fun for the this committee.  This committee plans the annual ASA Midwest Council Golf Tournament.  It takes alot of hard work from its members to pull off such a fine event year after year.  The annual golf tournament, auction, and dinner is fun for all that attend and helps to provide funding to our Chapter.  If you would like to learn more about this ASA Midwest Council Committee please send us an email.

Technology Committee

Tom Owens Memorial Scholarship Committee

The Tom Owens Memorial Scholarship Committee is actively seeking funds to provide scholarships for individuals who are entering a college, university, trade school or post graduate school. The fund is a 501c3 charitable organization and contributions can be made at any time. All applications must be received before January 31 and all rules and eligibility requirements must be followed. Scholarships are given on an annual basis and all eligible recipients may receive an award for no more than two years. Announcements of awards will be publicized before March 1 of the following year.
